A Goldendoodle is a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle (whereas a Labradoodle is a Labrador and a Poodle). This cross results in a dog that is friendly, intelligent, very affectionate, easily trained and with the added bonus of a low shedding coat. They can be any colour ranging from solid white, cream, gold, apricot, brown and black, to parti- coloured or phantom depending on the colour genes carried by the Poodle parent.
